Magic 8 Ball

Magic 8 Ball - accurate or just a game? Haha, it answered some of my questions accurately but the other answers were a little ambiguous. This is a funny one:

Me: Am I crazy?
Ball: Reply hazy. Try again.
Me: Am I crazy?
Ball: Reply hazy. Try again.
Me: Am I crazy?
Ball: Better not tell you now.
Me: Am I crazy?
Ball: Yes.
Me: Am I crazy?
Ball: Without a doubt.
[This is fun!]

Me: Will I marry?
Ball: Yes.
[WHAT?!?]

Me: When will I meet Mr Right?
Ball: Ask again later.
[Hahahahahahaha]

Me: How many kids will I have?
Ball: My reply is NO.
[Damn]

Ok, enough with all the girlie questions. Asked a few "private" questions and I got some satisfying answers. Hee. Oh well. I hope it isn't raining at Newton area. I've got a farking shoot! Arrgghh! Later.

Me: Is it raining over at the Park?
Ball: Better not tell you now.
Me: Answer me! Is it raining over there?
Ball: It is certain.
Me: Really?
Ball: It is definitely so.
Me: Yes or no?
Ball: Cannot predict now.
Me: Bullshit! Is it raining?
Ball: Yes.
Me: Thank you.

Zouk Out? Blah

Issit just me or Zouk crowd sucks? The music was bad, the people are "ugly & fat" (that's a direct quote from Jared), and everyone is so sian. Hmm, maybe today isn't exactly a great day for clubbing. However, it became a Mass Comm day. Not only I bumped into Ronald, Jack, Adeline, Ivy & Ashlynn, I also bumped into seniors like Richmond, Mark & Wen. Amazing. Met new people like Jared, Ronald (another one), Leon & Lumpy. So, it wasn't too bad actually.

I haven't met someone for quite some time. I felt like we haven't seen each other in years although the last time I saw him was last year (to be exact, about two weeks ago). There was uneasiness in the air and I hate it. Imagination or not, I felt like I've been shut out of his life. It would have hurt last year but not now. I guess I was ready for this. Oh well, friends are better than "in-betweens" anyway where no expectation is concern.

I can't sleep now. After a nice warm shower, I just feel like watching a movie. Maybe "Phone Booth". Hmm. Colin Farrell at 430am. Not a bad idea. Tata. Till later.

Wrap A Blankie Around Me

I can't stand the cold! *sniff* My nose has been runny like crazy. I sound nasal like Britney Spears. Ugh, been extensively wasting trees (tissues, I mean) to sneeze out my gooey mucus. My waste paper basket has never been so filled with used wet tissues. Yuck. I doubt I'll be going to Zouk tomorrow night if my flu doesn't get better.

IDM was err... short & fun. We only had 1 hr of "lesson" (when we're suppose to have 4 hrs) playing the online version of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" Dang. I can't be a millionaire for sure. I sure know how to steal a million. Haha, being corny here. Shit. We got our first assignment and I'm panicking already! I'm no techie genius. This assignment is out to kill me. DIE. DIE. DIE.

I need more rest, water & pills. Don't understand why some people enjoy popping pills for fun. I hate taking pills. I've no time concern watsoever. G'nite all.

Feeling Better

Sore throat's almost gone. Flu's still around *sniff*sniff* Watched two movies back to back at Cineleisure just now with Kee and Janice. Love Me If You Dare and Veronica Guerin. I love "Love Me If You Dare"! It's a cross between Tim Burton's fantasy visuals and Amelie's quirky dialogue & concept. Probably the most bizarre love story that would never happen to people like me.

"Veronica Guerin" was SAD. Robin Yee & Ramani should have shown this in the final lecture of newswriting if this movie came out earlier. The dangerous lives of an investigative journalist. My heart goes out to the late Veronica Guerin who was murdered by Irish drug dealers. A funky cameo by Colin Farrell who appeared for a minute to comment on Eric Cantona. Haha. Cate Blancette was a little too perky in the movie. Oh well, that's her character for you.

I had a good day today. Hope to be in tip top condition by tomorrow. Later.

Another Perfect Day

The topic has no references to mainstream pop music. I just hope today is another perfect day although I woke up sneezing like a balloon letting out air. This year has been a funny one. Yes Britney, we're all "laughing". I came across this article called, "Wedding Tips From Britney". Haha, now this made me laugh. The joke's on you, Britney *evil laugh*

sniff sniff

Ugh. It has been awhile since I last got sick. I've got a pretty good immune system, ya know. Unfortunately, I caught the flu bug and a bad sorethroat yesterday. I can feel a fever coming along too. I hate getting sick. First of all, you can't eat chocolates and other yummy food. Everything that goes down my throat hurts. Ouch. Guess I'll be sleeping early tonight again and pop a few pills. I better get well soon. Being sick sucks. I'm listening to Stevie Nicks' Edge of Seventeen. Haha. Oooh... baby... Oooh... Said Oooh...

Mona Lisa Smile

*applause* The film exceeded my expectations. It wasn't a fantastic film but hey, I like "Dead Poets Society" kinda feel-good movie. For once, here comes a film about women's choice whether to accept what they were born to be or to break tradition and be happy. Nice. Watched it with Nick & Vallie in Cineleisure. Gotta enjoy the "grace" period before work starts coming in.

I woke up at 730am today with a dramatic "Oh my shite!" outburst as I fell off the bed and got a bruise on my feet. Darn. Why does Advertising has to be at 8am? *groans* However, rushed to school without combing my hair (I had to wear a cap) only to find out that lecture starts at 830am instead of 8am. Darn. At least I was early. Hah!

Oh well. My only complaint of the day is bus drivers should stop making unnecessary emergency brakes because it causes nausea to the passengers. Yeah, I feel so tired today. Very lethargic. Fark you, 8 am lectures.

Andrew & Gwen

Weddings are so troublesome. Young Vs Old. Modernism Vs Tradition. Big Vs Small. Rich Vs Poor. Both opposites meet today (invitation to all who came from all over the world map to join this special occasion) to celebrate the unification of my cousin brother (the golden "penis" since he's the FIRST born male in to carry the "Wai" surname), Andrew & his gorgeous wife, Gwen. I'm glad my cousin decided to make everything simple and white but it's the older generation gang who fussed over traditional rituals & poor Gwen had to wear chunky gold jewelery. Hah.

I like the idea of not taking those ugly studio photos where bride & groom had to dressed up in their wedding gowns or ancient Chinese costume. Blah. Instead, Andrew & Gwen took funky photos (probably taken by their own friends) at the Esplanade & Merlion with an all white theme. Andrew is still young. He had messy tousled highlighted hair in which the "older generation" again thought he forgotten to comb his hair. Even Gwen's dress is simple white with a lily on her hair. There goes my aunt asking, "Why her veil so simple?" I thought, "Why would you want a bunch of silly decorations on your head?" but I said, "She can't carry so many thing on her head. Remembering the wedding vow is heavy enough."

Dramas begin to unfold as some relatives refuse to turn up for the tea ceremony due to a certain presence of another relative. Ooh. The dog is also dressed up in a giant bow tied around its neck. The food is too good. The best part of the weddiing is the food. Haha. The jazz music they played was pretty funky too. You know what made me laugh? When the pastor said a few words which sounded like a magazine programme featuring "healthy tips to sustain a marriage".

I'm happy for Andrew & Gwen. For the first time, he kept smiling for the entire day, revealing his trademark teeth. Gwen looking so gorgeous - I just realised she has a very very pretty face! Haven't seen her around for two years. Ah, pathetic me. I like it when Andrew screwed up the order of his wedding vows. Gwen must have practiced the night before. Congratulations to you both. Have good sex for the rest of your life and stay together. Your wedding has saved another. If you know what I mean. It's freaking 3am. I need sleep. May my family have a safe ride home tonight. G'nite, world.
