I guess I've apologised enough today. After 4-hrs of sleep, I woke up with a dry throat and I can't continue sleeping. Alcohol ruins everything. Well, at least for me. I'm not used to silent treatment too which kinda got me a lil' emo in the morning. Here goes: I'm sorry. To everyone I've hurt in one way or another. It will be a long time until I decided to drink again. It's not worth it, bleh. I guess I've to get this off my chest before hitting the sheets again.

I hope this doesn't turn out to be some lousy gossip (which probably will anyway - who am I kiddin?). I'll be doing some reflections today and also looking forward to catch 'Love Actually' later in the day. I hope Shaun will have a great day ahead despite the boo-boo early this morning. You're finally 20, dude. Cheers.

For the past two nights, I've been irritated by this person in Retromonks called John aka Ewoks. Not only he types too fast on ICQ, he talks crap. Guess I've to learn to accept people for who they are but this guy just gets on my nerves! Hmm. Last nite, I've decided to take a less-mean approach and I guess this guy's just being funny. Hmm, weird sense of humour though.

Ok, tonight's the night, people! We will decide who rightfully owns Manhattan. Haha, it's the parrrtttttyyyyyy at Shaun's. I bake the cake with Brighton, Andrew and of course, Aunty Nancy. Wanna crash the party? Just hop by Shaun's place. Guess he already has some gate crashers already. Haha. Including my 13-yr old sister. Prepare to get wasted and strictly no sex. Haha. I'm tired. I really am. Woohoo! Operation baking cake was successful! Met Brighton for the first time and his parents. His mum is the most amazing baker - she doesn't follow the recipe and just "agak-agak" everything. Yet, the cake turned out perfectly fine. Phew. I didn't do much but I'm still dead tired. I've no idea why.

I cried today. So paiseh. I can't believe I cried in front of someone I met for the first time. I got over it already. It's nobody's fault that "Rusty" went missing. Nobody intended it to happen. I've got a new puppie now, I called it "Hippo". Haha. "Hippo" is sleeping with me tonight together with "Sleepy Farthead". Yeah!

Can't type anymore. It was a great day. Really. I like the dinner conversations with Brighton's parents and his god-brother though. Haha, makes me feel at home.

Ahh. Beautiful day. Met Sy Yi at Jurong Point with lots to catch up. Haven't seen her in a year! I was so glad that we finally had time to catch up with each other. Hmm. I wish we could do this more often. Then, met with Reena at Westmall for my so-called dinner. Haha. I realised I haven't had a proper meal in two days since everybody left for Chiangmai.

Let's see. I had cheesy bread and whatever I had at the 'Master & Commander' reception yesterday. I had Mcpepper and Takopochi today. That's all. Wow. I didn't feel hungry I guess. I'm not on a diet. I'm thru with the grapefruit thing. Makes me feel pukish.

Tomorrow I'll witness the making of the best cake in the world. Beware.

I got a little sea sick last night from watching 'Master & Commander'. First 15 mins of the movie, I was wondering, "Why am I watching this?" and then there were little elements in the movie like friendship Vs. duty which got me hook for awhile. The entire movie was set in the sea. Mervyn was squirming in his seat beside me. He was like, "I'm falling asleep! There's no women! Where's the plot? There's not even one turning point!" When Nick saw the French ship approaching at like the final half hour (oh btw, the movie is freaking long about 2 1/2 hrs), he went like, "New talents! New talents!" You get the picture. Watching Russell Crowe for more than 2 hrs is exhausting and not pleasant. But watching with Nick and Mervyn makes it a funny experience. Haha.

Well, I was there to enjoy the reception after the movie (free food!). Elaine was incredibly nice yesterday (hmm, first impressions don't count anymore) and of course, Janice Tay too. Valerie was interviewed by Cheryl Fox about the whole digital experience. Honestly, there was a BIG difference between 35mm and digital. It's like watching DVD on big screen - no glitches and clearer. They toned down the brightness yesterday. I think its really neat when everything goes digital. Technology, dude.

I'll go buy some baking material later. I'm baking the worst cake in the entire world. Wish me luck. I do not wish to explode Brighton's oven. In fact, I think I'll stay away from it. I'll just sift the floor or something. This reminds me of the time I sift the floor into the basin for no reason. Hmm. I told you I'm a baking idiot.

Just found out that Paine sent us comments and grade for our Docprod final project. The Finger Players got an A! Hurrah! Well done, guys! I'm estatic now but one comment made me laugh so hard: "Xiao Wen, dress appropriately for a pitch". LOL. I kinda forgotten what I wore for the pitch but I think I wore denim pants. Whoops. Told you I do not have formal wear. Happy happy news! I was the lazy one in this project. Hee hee.

Selamat Hari Raya! I stayed home the entire day. I woke up at 12pm. I think I answered a call before that but can't remember much. Then, my entire family (including extended family members) all arrived at my aunt's place. It was like a family gathering that I didn't know about. Couldn't meet Mandy and Boon who were probably making out somewhere in Bukit Panjang. Hehe. Oh well.

Yun Wen went over to another aunt's place. Hmm, guess she was a little mad because she loves sticking to me. Haha, I'm gonna be so free for the next few days. Probably rot at home sine grandma, grandpa and cousins are all flying to Chiangmai tomorrow morning. Oh well. I thought they were flying today. I'll be having fun home alone. Maybe I will learn to cook while they're away. Cool.

Just came back from town. Played pool with Shaun (yups, two bored individuals hitting colourful balls with sticks). I swear I haven't played since Urbanwire & Heatwave Vs. CTV. Haha. It was my fifth time playing pool (yes, I suck at pool. Sue me.) and I lost every round. Poor Shaun kept giving me chances but haha, I'm just not cut out for balls and sticks (yes, I know it's called a cue. Wateva.)

I think tomorrow's Hari Raya. Zaki hasn't invited me yet! I wanna eat lemang, ketupat and kuih muih. I wanna go visiting hee. Think I might be going to Sentosa tomorrow. Anybody wanna come? Haven't been there in a long time. Feel like canoeing/kayaking. Meeting Boon later for coffee at Westmall. Yeah!

I wonder when am I suppose to bake the cake with Raven_X. I can't bake! Haha, neither does he. Oh well. Might as well learn rite? Hee hee. Can't wait to see the results. The last time I baked anything I blew the entire oven. My poor mum was beside it and she got 2nd degree burns. It was Chinese New Year's eve. So, it's not funny. Baking is dangerous. Will keep you posted about the cake *fingers crossed*

Might be helping CheeK in the production of this 14-episode TV series, "Rouge" *fingers crossed* Hopefully, he confirm everything soon. Exciting yah? My holidays are getting slightly better now.

Ok. All is forgiven. The person I was suppose to meet came to my place. I'm thankful, mainly cause I'm so lazy to travel. I'm not going sell X-mas cards anymore. I'm too lazy. At least I've got my charger back. This might sound corny but my life is "re-charged" muahahaha. Have to go to Bugis later. Sigh. It's so F-A-R.

Retromonks is addictive. My character is "Nympho Hippo" haha. It rhymes dude. Thanks to Raven_X (is this some warcraft character?) a.k.a. Brighton. Our new mission is to kill the hippo in the board. Haha, if you know what I mean (taken from 'Whose Line Is It Anyway' if you know what I mean... haha). Later.
