home alone part II

I secretly wish today's "Park View" shoot is cancelled. Haha, how often do I get to be home alone on a Sunday? Woke up at 12 noon & cooked Tom Yam pasta (I swear it's good!) for myself. I'm also making salad for later. Just me, my cooking & sitcoms. It's a great Sunday afternoon & I wish I could stay home.

On the subject of loneliness, Shaun said all you need is a computer to accompany you. Ok, I felt lonely last night - first of all, I was home alone watching "Home Alone 2: Lost In New York" on a Saturday night. How ironic. Then, I was talking over ICQ about loneliness. can I get anymore lonelier? In addition to the "irony" of the situation, my cousin came home, laid down beside me, looks me in the eye and asked me, "Do you feel lonely? Because I am."

The world is full of lonely people.

if life gets any more sickening, i will shoot myself

I dun understand why people laugh when I say, "Hey, I'm depressed". Do I look like someone who smiles 24/7? I have issues too, you know. I try to talk to people but nobody listens because xiaowen seems like the happiest person in the world. Even Amanda told me recently that her dad thinks that I look like a kind of person who's forever happy. It's all about layers, people. Have you ever watch "Shrek"? I'm like an onion. Read my lips: L-A-Y-E-R-S. There's more to a person than a plastic smile.

Today, went to Holland V with Shaun & Boon although I was reluctant to go after a morning of vacumming the house. Boon shaved his head! Hurrah! Now, operation "get-the-goatie-off-boon's-chin" has five people agreeing that his goatie sucks and still counting. Slacked at Borders, Gramophone (shit, the CDs were farking cheap! Arrgghh!) and went home to cook dinner for myself. It was me, my dinner & Home Alone 2 on Channel 5. I feel happy for the first time since Christmas. Not HAPPY HAPPY, but happy. Hmm.

I'm contemplating whether I should go back to Taiping for CNY. I don't feel like it but it seems wrong not to go back. I don't know. I'll sleep on this matter tonight. Maybe I might wake up with an answer.

fugliest fag day

It's a quiet Boxing Day. Grandparents went to Malaysia. Sister went to stayed over at Pasir Ris. Dinner at Boon's was cancelled. Basically, I've no reason to go out or anything particularly fun to do. Played Monopoly, online games, wash 3-days worth of laundry, mop the entire house, watch TV & eat.

I can't believe I just cried after reading an email from my good buddie/god-sister from Canada. I'm so happy for her to have found her love of her life over there. Plus, her partner is French! Damn! I recently confide her with a "problem" of mine and her words of consolation always work for me. I felt incredibly touched & I actually teared. I hate to cry like that. It's just so embarassing. I hope I'll find happiness soon like her. Love ya, Nicole.

Just watched MTV - a programme called "Fugliest Rock Stars". I laughed so hard because this random guy from the street commented on Michael Stipe from R.E.M. (who was on the list of "Fugliest Rock Stars") as "he should be senior citizen by now". And, Chad Kroeger from Nickelback - this random guy said, "I think he looks like Jesus". Muahaha. And why the hell is John Mayer on the list? John Mayer is not fugly! He's just emo. You know who's fugly? Thom Yorke. But he's not on the list. Oh well, what does MTV knows anyway?

Do you think Jack White will make it to the list next year? I think Jack White's pretty hot. He just wear too much makeup. And, he's white.

white christmas

It was a wild white christmas at Orchard last night. The entire S'pore population & immigrants are hanging out with their foamy "snow" spray cans & gooey colourful spray cans. If you wanna smell funky body odour, perspiration & look like Frosty the snowman, head down to Orchard tonight. Haha, it was the only consolation since we don't get snow here (hence, no snowball fights) - we have snow spray war with Indian immigrants, blonde-haired Ah Bengs & some random people.

Andrew, Boon, Mandy, Daniel & I were covered with smelly white foam (aka "snow") & colourful gooey stuff. Screw those bastards who enjoyed spraying into people's eyes & despo hornies who groped people in the crowd. After a game of UNO (yes, we played Hello Kitty UNO) at Cineleisure & a good meal at Pastamania, we all spent the rest of the night at Boon's. More UNO & some police-culprit game, we ended up sleeping to the soundtrack to "The Nightmare Before Christmas" & woke up to Neil Young. I was absolutely exhausted & went back to Bukit Batok to sleep since it's nearer & the bed is bigger.

It's 630pm & I just woke up. Got a Christmas gift from my Pasir Ris aunt. Yeah, more chocolates! I missed this bed alot. Had a really good sleep without kids screaming into my ears or jumping on my head. Merry Christmas, everyone. Tomorrow's boxing day. Let's have a match, shall we?

merry christmas

Santa didn't give me what I want. Hate to burst my own bubble but big fat red guy does not exists. Geez. Going out later with Boon, Andrew & a bunch of people till dawn. Sounds good to me since aunt said she'll drop me off at Orchard. Hmm, I love this aunt! She's super relax (never ask too many questions about my whereabouts) and she's cool (she rented "The Experiment" from Video Ezzy ok?). It would be perfect to live here permanently - haha, dream on xiaowen.

Watched LOTR today. Fuck lar. Almost 4 hrs! What was Peter Jackson thinking? It's the longest movie of my life. Not that fantastic plus this kid behind me kept commenting and asking about the movie (which actually added some entertainment to it - I thought he deserved Best Audience Award). Like after the entire battle scene with few mins till the movie ends, Gandalf appeared and the kid behind me asked, "Who's this man?" Muahahaha. This kid is crazy! And, Frodo wakes up all clean & wearing white. The kid says, "He think he's in heaven". Muahahaha. What a cute kid! Then they got the dead souls to fight, the kid says, "They asking a bunch of skeletons to fight?" I love this kid. I'll give it a 3 1/2 out of 5. Not fantastic at all.

Andrew came back yesterday and he got me a bubble pen & an alarm clock. Haha. I thought that was a really practical gift, thanks babe! Brighton's gathering was nice too. Love the pasta & fruit punch. I didn't know how to pour drinks (I'm really lousy!) though. Haha, yeah yeah loser. Whatever. Okie, gotta go bathe & go parttttyyyy!
